Broadway on Long Island

Broadway pays a call this month at the Bay Street Theatre in Sag Harbor. The visiting celebrity talent includes Betty Buckley, described as “The Voice of Broadway,” and a member of the original cast of Andrew Lloyd Webber’s “Cats” (she sang “Memories”). Buckley’s Memorial Day Weekend shows (8 p.m., May 23 -25) will be an intimate evening featuring selections from Broadway musicals, the great American songbook and jazz. Tickets cost $60.

Charles Busch, the renowned playwright, stars in “Shanghai Moon” at Bay Street from June 3 –29. Bay Street also delivers laughs with an all star Comedy Club lineup featuring Susie Essman, June 9; Tracy Morgan, June 16; and Richard Lewis, June 23.
